Trial Operation of Selected Team Study Rooms

Valid from May to September, 2026.

The trial period applies only to three selected team study rooms – no. 11, 14, and 29.

The other Team Study Rooms will continue to be reserved through the existing reservation system in accordance with the rules set out in the Conditions of Use of the Integrated Library and its annexes.

Reservations

• Reservations to be made exclusively via the Reservation System (not assisted).
• A patron can have only one active reservation at a time.
• The patronwho made the reservation must be present in the team study room.
• Before paying for the reservation, the patron always confirms that he will not conduct commercial activities in the study room area.

Fees and cancellation

• The rental fee 30 CZK/hour (for all authorized users) is paid in advance.
• Cancellation at least 24 hours in advance → the fee is refunded.
• Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance → the fee is not refunded.
• Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance → the fee is not refunded.
• In case of booking multiple consecutive hours, it is possible to cancel just part of the reservation.

Reservation period

• Summer semester: January 1 – June 30*
• Summer holidays: July 1 – September 14
• Winter semester: September 15 – December 31*

*The end of the winter semester and the beginning of the summer semester may change depending on the published academic year schedule of the Dejvice Campus universities.

Authorized users

• In the period from September 15 to June 30, rentals are intended exclusively for students, doctoral students, teachers, and other employees of the partner institutions (the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague, Czech Technical University, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, and the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS).
• Foreigners from outside the EU must have documented residence in the Czech Republic.

• In the period from July 1 to September 14, reservations for discounted fee can also be made by other patron groups (i.e., other public – groups H and K).
• Foreigners from outside the EU must have documented residence in the Czech Republic.
